Area Attractions

Colonial Williamsburg

One of the most popular things to do in Williamsburg is to visit Eighteenth-century Colonial Williamsburg. Colonial Williamsburg is the world’s largest living history museum, with more than 40 sites and trades and two world-class art museums and is full of first hand experiences. Take part in a dig into the past. Tour the laboratories in The Wallace Collections and Conservation Building that examine and restore colonial artifacts. For the adventurous, sign up for the axe throwing or learn how to fire a flintlock musket.

Since there are so many things to do, it can be overwhelming, and that’s why we suggest checking out the interest-based itineraries.

Visit the first Royal Governor Estate

While the initial building was lost to fire, the replica, built in 1934, is a more-than-acceptable substitute. When you come to the Governor’s Palace, you can see what high society was like in Williamsburg, back in the day. There are lots of impressive things to see at the Governor’s Palace, and the guided tours will give you plenty of great information!

Visit Water County USA

The fun and thrill of amusement parks mixed with the refreshment of water on a warm day make waterparks like Water Country USA such an amazing place to visit. Between the thrilling slides and places to just relax, the whole family can have a great time there!

Drink Williamsburg

If you’re looking for some adult beverages, Drink Williamsburg would be the perfect activity for you to bond with your significant other and have a great time, with some great drinks! On this tour, you will get a chance to taste alcohol or beer that has been crafted centuries ago. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of new drinks for you to try too!
