Fall Fun at the New Jersey Shore

We all have a favorite season and for most it is summer because of the hot weather and beach vacations. Although for me, my favorite season is fall because fall means beautiful foliage, hoodies and cool, crisp weather. When you think of fall, the beach might be the last thought on your mind, but fall is actually a fantastic time to visit the beach with Sundance Vacations. Go ahead and try something new! Fall at the beach provides cheap airfare, discounted accommodations, less traffic, significantly smaller crowds and if you’re lucky, you might stumble across a beach bonfire!

Once Labor Day comes and goes, the beaches are much less crowded. You can take a trip to the beach and still have a good time in the off season. You could even possibly end up having the entire beach all to yourself. Say hello to a private paradise.. well kinda. Just think of the amount of seashells and sea glass you will come across with there being fewer people beachcombing!

Summer is great and all, but I hate being too hot. If you visit the beach during the fall season, you get to enjoy what the beach has to offer, without having to bake in the sun all day. I personally like playing frisbee on the beach, but the sand is always scorching, and usually feels like the sand at the Sahara Desert! I know I’d prefer playing frisbee barefoot without burning my feet any day!

The Wildwood area is beautiful during the fall season. I have a reservation booked for Sundance Vacations in September and I paid less than $300.00 for an entire week! ‘Esplanande Suites’ is located a short walk away from the famous ’Wildwoods Sign’. They have grills onsite and the weather will be perfect for grilling! I am looking forward to the warm weather while we are there because September still provides warm summer-like weather during the day, although the nights and mornings are a bit cooler. The water may be getting a bit too cold to swim in, and I don’t know if I would want to be walking around in a bikini as we approach the middle of the fall season, but there are many different activities to enjoy.
