From 6:00p.m. to 8:30 p.m. enjoy a four-course meal of Thomas Jefferson’s favorite foods! Each course is paired with different beverages from all around the world! After dinner, a Thomas Jefferson impersonator will take guests to a VIP reenactment! Watch Tomas read the Declaration of Independence from the balcony of the Governor’s Palace.

Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg

Up for some art? Enjoy the exhibit “Create! For Independence Day” where the public can create Independence Day themed artwork. Take home a piece of artwork from your trip, that you made yourself! The U. S. Air Force Heritage of America Band will play outside the museums from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Kids and adults will love this interactive activity!

Fireworks

End the day with a bang! Every Independence Day needs to end with a show stopping display of fireworks! At 9:20 p.m. take a seat in the Palace Green and watch a clear view of the fireworks. The fireworks will be set off from behind the Governor’s Palace and will last for 19 minutes of 4th of July fun!
