Afraid skiing here isn’t for beginners? You can have private one on one ski lessons to help give you the maximum experience. Or if you’re not a skier or snowboarder at all, you can explore the mountains on some amazing dog sled trails or take a sleigh ride down the mountainside.
Ready to Eat?
The most important thing about traveling are the food and drinks, right? Before you start your day of fun or relaxation you’ll need to fill that stomach. While Park City has so many amazing restaurants it’s hard to hit them all in one trip. Here are a few favorites for both travelers and locals.
A great place to start the day is the Deer Valley Grocery Café. This easy pull up location has a simple yet classic breakfast menu. But you’re on vacation so you might not want to wake up early, no problem! This amazing café is open for lunch until 7 PM all year!
Our next restaurant we recommend is an absolute local’s favorite. Have you ever heard of the show Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives? Well Sammy’s Bistro was featured on the show for their mouthwatering Chivito Club sandwich. Words can’t describe how good it is, so it’s something you’ll have to check out for yourself.
One place you’ll regret if you don’t try is the Farm Restaurant, located at the heart of the Resort Village. For those wine lovers out there, the Farm Restaurant has a wine list of over 450 hand-selected vineyards. While sitting down and enjoying farm to table cuisine you’ll have spectacular views of both the ski beach and mountain. This restaurant is great for a romantic dinner or an amazing experience for both friends and family.
After a delicious dinner you can end the night at the Royal Street Café located on top of the Deer Valley Resort Mountain for some of their delicious specialty drinks.
Not looking to go explore the slopes of this winter wonderland but still want to have an adventure?
Don’t worry! Park City has plenty other activities for the whole family!
Try taking your family on a mountainside zip line or on the Alpine Coaster. The Alpine Coaster with the elevated track winds you through more than a mile of loops, curves and hair-pin curves at speeds up to 30 mph. Imagine your favorite roller coaster, but with the refreshing Park City mountain scenery.
For people who want to have a memorable experience out of the wilderness, you can spend some time at the Park City Museum where children can complete a “Park City History Detectives” activity. Those who love to shop can go outlet shopping in Historic Park City where there are over 70 retail stores! Or if you’re a sports fan, Park City also has amazing sports halls to check out.
Stay at Park Regency
The Park Regency is the perfect family getaway. Take the complimentary ski shuttle to the slopes for a day of skiing. In warmer weather, the kids will enjoy a mountain bike ride in the great outdoors, and then the whole family can swim in the indoor, heated pool. Spend a few hours in the fitness center and relax those muscles in the whirlpool/spa tub. Enjoy a barbecue in the picnic area. The concierge will help arrange your day, whether on-site or off.
