St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday that we look forward to here at Sundance Vacations! The parades and festivals filled with vibrant shades of green remind us that spring is right around the corner. Though the temperatures may not be perfectly pleasant just yet, that’s not stopping us from celebrating in Irish fashion with marching bands, pub crawls, and meal specials. If you’re looking for the best holiday events happening near your favorite Sundance properties, here’s what you can experience this St. Patrick’s Day!

Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Stroudsburg
This yearly spectacle is a favorite of locals and neighboring visitors—so much so that we wrote about it last year to support our Jim Thorpean brethren! The Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Downtown Stroudsburg is free to attend and will start at 1:15 PM. The procession of marching units, bands, non-profit groups, politicians, and local businesses will begin at the Stroudsburg High School and end at Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg. Last year’s event was greeted with beautiful sunny weather, and we’re hoping for the same outcome this March 17th!
Other events will be taking place like, the St. Patty’s Day Party with DJ Blizzard! To view the full calendar of events happening near the Poconos St. Patrick’s Day weekend, visit the Poconos Mountains online event calendar.
