There’s no shortage of beaches in Hawaii. It’s almost impossible to turn a corner without seeing white sandy shores. You might even run into beaches with black, green, or red sand. Enjoy a day of lounging in the sun and dipping your toes into the crystalline waters. If you’re looking for gorgeous photogenic beaches, some of the most popular include Waikiki Beach, Poipu Beach Park, Wailea Beach, and Kapalua Bay.

From beautiful Hawaiian hibiscus and pikake to spotted hawksbill sea turtles and furry Hawaiian hoary bats, there’s so much wildlife to observe in Hawaii. Looking to see these environmental wonders up close and personal? Visit botanical gardens like the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden or the Garden of Eden Arboretum. Popular areas to see animals are the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium!

Restaurants like Senia, The Original Roy’s in Hawaii Kai, and Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman are delicious options to fill your belly! Explore flavors of Hawaiian, Asian, and American fusion food in a variety of different atmospheres ranging from casual to formal!
National Parks
There are a total of nine national parks in Hawaii, ranging from wide-open vistas to towering volcanoes spurting ash and smoke. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was voted as the #1 best national park to visit in 2023 by Hawaii Magazine, and the photos bursting with shades of orange are enough to show why.
