The Best Way To Visit The Top Budget Travel Destinations Of 2013

There’s no better time than right now, during this cold weather we’ve been having, to start planning early and saving for your summer 2013 vacation.  Give yourself something to look forward to, and get ahead of the game so that you are prepared when summer finally does arrive.

The Editors of Budget Travel Magazine recently published a list of the 10 Best Budget Destinations for 2013, and it just so happens that Sundance Vacations has properties in three of the ten locations!

Palm Springs, California:  Long heralded as California’s desert oasis, where celebrities and golf enthusiasts go when they needed some R&R, Palm Springs has been implementing an aggressive tourism incentive program designed to boost the local economy.  It is among the top 10 domestic markets for new vacation rental listings.  Winter and early spring are peak seasons in Palm Springs, so if you opt for summer and fall instead, you’ll beat both the heat and the crowds.

Tennessee:  The home of America’s most popular and visited national park, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee offers its visitors more than 800 miles of scenic hiking trails, horseback riding, trout fishing and endless family fun.  There’s no better place to appreciate the changing seasons. And, just a few hours’ drive away is Nashville, the home of the country music.

The Bahamas:   According to Travelocity, fares to the islands, north of Cuba in the Atlantic ocean, fell 4 percent this year even as the number of visitors to the islands increased by 8 percent.  From northernmost Grand Bahama, with its three national parks, underwater caves, and urbane nightlife, to the bustling port of Nassau, home to iconic Cable Beach and historic Bay Street lined with shops and cafes, the Bahamas remain a favorite “stylish steal” for savvy travelers.  Trade winds maintain average temperatures in the Bahamas in the 70s and 80s year-round.

Anticipation is a big part of the fun isn’t it?  So the sooner you start planning, the longer you will have to look forward to your trip!
