Sundance Launches Charity Site

Sundance Launches Charity Site

Sundance Vacations is proud to announce the launch of its new charity site:

The site provides a list of all the charities that John and Tina Dowd, co-owners of the company, and its employees have supported over the years.   As a sort of “clearing house” for charities, the site contains information about each charity, location listings, news and information from them and the ability to make a donation directly to the charity of your choice by following the links on the site.

Visitors will also find information about Sundance Vacations, including office locations, links to other company resources, partnership information and even a letter from the owners.

The Dowds, who are no strangers to charity and giving back, were recently named “Outstanding Philanthropists” by the Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day. They were nominated by Wyoming Seminary and the Luzerne Foundation for their charitable contributions and pursuits.  For more information about that story, click here: ——-> “Dowds Named Outstanding Philanthropists”

Sundance Vacations, and the Dowds, have a strong commitment to charity and hope that the website brings attention to where it is needed most.  Some local charities lack the exposure needed on the World Wide Web, Sundance hopes to draw attention to some of these and get people involved in giving back.  Later on down the road, the site is projected to handle donation requests and possibly scholarship inquiries.

The site will also feature a different charity each month to try and help raise awareness for different issues and causes.  Check back for more updates and Sundance Vacations plans to add a number of more charities to the site.
