As a result of the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy a few weeks ago, several New Jersey resort hotels are being used through FEMA to house coastal residents who lost their homes in the Superstorm, and Sundance Vacations’ very own Esplanade Suites Hotel in Wildwood is one of them. We have plenty of vacancy at the Esplanade in the winter months, so we are thrilled to be able to offer emergency shelter to our neighbors who lost their homes in Hurricane Sandy.
Sundance Vacations’ company culture encourages living out the mission statement and core values every day, and in keeping with that, housing families that have been displaced is just one way Sundance is helping the people who lost so much. Employees were motivated to raise money to help hurricane
victims by having a “Dress Down Week” at the corporate headquarters, with the company matching money raised with an additional donation to the American Red Cross.
In addition, employees collected items desperately needed in the disaster zones. Sundance Vacations and its employees understand the importance of supporting our communities and helping wherever and whenever help is needed. Charity is about giving back, it’s about helping someone when they need it the most and asking for nothing in return. Sundance Vacations and its owners are firmly committed to helping out communities and people in all ways, shapes and forms.
