Sundance Vacations’ Travel Inspired Recipes

Travel is one of those things that can certainly make you richer for the experience.  When we travel, we see new places, learn new things, discover new cultures and create lasting memories.  These memories stick with us throughout our lives, making us more rounded individuals.

Our senses play a key role in this and it’s truly amazing how a sensation can bring a memory flooding back to you.  It is quite interesting how a scent can bring you back to another place or time.

Cooking is one way that we can transport ourselves to another location.  Simply by mixing ingredients together, anyone can find themselves on the shore at that awesome place with the fish tacos, or tasting that amazing barbeque for the first time in Tennessee.  Think of cooking as road trip of sorts for your senses.

Sundance Vacations is happy to be starting a new series right here on our Sundance Vacations Travel Blog.  Each week we will feature a new, travel-inspired recipe.  From Crab Cakes in Maryland to Black Beans and Rice in Costa Rica, this new feature will certainly have you traveling all over, without ever having to leave the kitchen.

Check back weekly for new recipes and be sure to follow us on Twitter and the Sundance Vacations Facebook page to stay up-to-date with all the new content we are putting out! Bon Appetit!
