Crystal River Preserve State Park — Crystal River, Florida
Have you ever dreamed of going snorkeling with manatees? If so, this is the place for you!
Located roughly 2 hours outside of Tampa, Florida, you, friends, and family can go snorkeling! We know what you’re thinking, swimming with such a large animal, isn’t that scary? Although it can be easy to be overwhelmed by these giant creatures, they are harmless. The manatees are most active in the morning, so to enjoy the full experience, we recommend making your time as early as possible. Crystal River is a great experience for all! Sundance Vacations offers two properties located less than 2 hours away! Our Beso Del Sol in Dunedin, Florida and Safety Harbor Resort in Safety Harbor, Florida are great getaway locations. Both are less than 15 miles from the nearest beach and less than 2 hours from Disney World in Orlando.

The closest Airport to both properties is the Tampa International Airport (TPA) which is 21 miles from Beso Del Sol, and 13.8 miles from Safety Harbor Resort and Spa.
Catalina Island — Los Angeles County, California
If you’re looking for the perfect water-based activity to enjoy while vacationing to California, give snorkeling a try! Catalina Island is located approximately 22 miles off the coast of Los Angeles, California.
This approximately 2-hour tour includes gear fitting and orientation, as well as your 1-hour tour and time in the ocean. You will be able to see the local aquatic life, kelp, and schooling fish while guided through the sea. The Avalon Dive Park is an established marine preserve and offers a ton of marine life for viewing!

Sundance Vacations offers a property right on the coast located in Carlsbad, California. Our Grand Pacific Palisades Resort is located just 35 miles from the ferry port in Dana Point, California. This ferry would be taken to Catalina Island. Ferry reservations will need to be made in advance.

The closest airports to our Grand Pacific Palisades Resort are the McClellan-Palomar Airport – CLD (2.8 miles), the San Diego International Airport – SAN (33 miles), and the Los Angeles International Airport – LAX (95 miles)
Kapalua Bay Beach — Maui, Hawaii
Kapalua Bay Beach is a sheltered white sand beach located on the northwest side of Maui, and it is an ideal location for snorkeling. Although Kapalua Beach is popular due to its beauty and convenience, it remains uncrowded in both its look and feel. You’ll have plenty of room to lay down a towel or two!

Punta Nizuc — Cancun, Mexico
Cancun is the go-to spot for most travelers, especially when it comes to all-inclusive stays. Punta Nizuc snorkeling park is in the heart of the town and at the south end of the Hotel Zone. Tours are done through Aquaworld. Reservations can be made for the snorkeling tours but are not required.

When traveling to Cancun, Mexico, Sundance Vacations offers three properties directly there! Our Sunset Royal Beach Resort and our Sunset Marina & Yacht Club are both optional all-inclusive resorts (meaning you can still travel to these properties without purchasing the all-inclusive fee) and our third property, Club Regina Cancun, does not offer all-inclusive.
Closest Airport
The closest airport to our three properties is the Cancun International Airport – CUN. From Sunset Royal Beach Resort, it is 14 miles, from Sunset Marina & Yacht Club it is 14 miles, and from Club Regina Cancun the airport is only 7 miles.
