Sundance Vacations at Seven Dwarfs in Orlando

Sundance Vacations Seven Dwarfs Orlando

An old adage says “You reap the benefits of what you sow.” This statement certainly applies to all Sundance Vacations’ employees, who are given the opportunity to experience interesting travel adventures through the auspices of Sundance.

As a case in point, three employees at Sundance’s corporate headquarters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, recently ventured to the Villas at Seven Dwarfs in Orlando, Florida, for what can be considered an experience of a lifetime.

The trio of Sundance employees, who definitely are not vertically challenged (with all due respect to the Sven Dwarfs), include Kelly Valovich, human resources generalist; Gene O’Malley of the programming/analysis department, and Nick Babineau of the accounting department.

Though each had different views of their stay at the Villas at Seven Dwarfs, they all agreed the the property exuded the all-important three “Cs.” Valovich, O’Malley and Babineau had nothing but positive comments about how clean and classy the property and accommodations were and, of course, they raved about the cozy atmosphere.

Valovich, her husband, Michael and their two boys, as well as Kelly’s parents, Joe and Margie, were the most recent Sundance visitors at the Villas. Their Florida excursion took place April 26 through May 3.

“Everything at the Villas is impeccable from the grounds to the accommodations. Everything you want while on vacation is there including a heated swimming pool, a hot tub and a fully equipped gym. And the best thing about it is they’re all open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time at the pool when we weren’t at Disney World, Epcot of Hollywood Studios,” Valovich said.

Though it was a first-time trip to Disney World for the Valoviches and their sons, who are six and seven, Kelly said the boys loved the swimming pool more than Disney though the high point for her was Disney. “Disney World and the other popular attractions are a short distance from the Villas and that was a good thing because you didn’t have to drive hours just to get there,” she added.

Among the other amenities at the Dwarfs’ resort are a playground, fishing and paddleboats on the property’s grounds. “That worked out well for us as my dad spent a lot of time fishing, which is his favorite pastime,” Valovich emphasized.

She also pointed out all employees at the Villas are very courteous and respectful. Valovich also shared a humorous story about the security guard at the gated community. “The temperature was 73 degrees and the guard was wearing a parka. When we asked if he was hot wearing a heavy coat, he responded with ‘This is chilly for me, I prefer it to be 104 degrees’,” Valovich explained.

The villa shared by the Valoviches had three bedrooms, two full baths, a spacious living room and a kitchen. Each bedroom has a flat-screen television and the living room has a larger flat-screen TV.

Valovich may have summed up her impression of the Villas at Seven Dwarfs best when she said, “I would have been happy and content to just stay at the resort.”

O’Malley and his three children recently (this year) enjoyed the Villas at Seven Dwarfs and came away with a great family bonding experience. “We loved everything about our week’s stay and nobody wanted to leave when our week was done. It’s a very nice place that is well taken care of in regard to the landscaping and the villa itself. It had all the comforts of home and then some,” he offered.

As for the comforts of home, O’Malley said the villa had a full kitchen, two full baths , three bedrooms and the all-important washer and dryer. “The property also had basketball courts, a playground, a nice swimming pool and a hot tub. There also were picnic tables and grills situated throughout the grounds,” he added.

In addition to the beauty and comfort of the Villas at Seven Dwarfs, the O’Malleys were impressed with the property’s close proximity to major tourist attractions including the “Happiest Place on Earth.” We were only 10 to 15 minutes away from Disney World, which was the most important part of the trip for my two boys, ages five and 18, and my daughter, who is 10. Needless to say, Disney World proved to be the high point of our trip. And this was made possible thanks to our stay at the Villas,” he emphasized.

As part of the Florida excursion, the O’Malley also had the opportunity have family members (cousins), who live in Florida, visit them at the Villas.

“We had a great time and, like I said, nobody wanted to leave,” O’Malley noted.

Babineau and his wife, Jennifer, traveled to the Villas at Seven Dwarfs in September of 2013 and came away with a great impression of Florida destination. “When we saw the place I said, ‘Wow this looks better than my apartment’.”

As part of the Babineaus stay at the Villas, they had the opportunity to meet with friends who live in Tampa.

Of course, he and his wife also were impressed with the Villas being a short drive to major attractions including Universal Studios where they spent two days.

“The Villas at Seven Dwarfs is a nice, peaceful gated community that is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub a lot,” he commented.

When speaking of the accommodations, Babineau said the three-bedroom unit featured flat-screen televisions in every bedroom, as well as a larger flat-screen and blu-ray player in the living room. The property and our villa provided a nice, relaxing atmosphere. My wife loved it so much that she wanted to stay another week. I’d recommend the Villas at Seven Dwarfs to anyone,” he emphasized.
