The accolades keep rolling in for Sundance Vacations, a wholesale vacation/travel company headquartered in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
The most recent business distinction attained by Sundance Vacations is being selected by NJBIZ as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. Sundance Vacations’ New Jersey office is located in Parsippany.
“This coveted designation is determined after garnering information from employee and employer surveys and analyzing company policies, practices philosophies and demographics,” according to Susan Alexander of NJBIZ.
Sundance Vacations was one of 38 large companies selected for this achievement. The Wilkes-Barre-based vacation business was the only travel/vacation company to be selected. Sundance Vacations is competing for the highest ranking with a myriad of other businesses including such fields as technology, engineering, banking, pharmaceutical, financial services, real estate, automotive, retail, accounting and health care, among others.
NJBIZ is a publication that devotes itself to being “All Business All New Jersey.”
In addition to the large company category that Sundance Vacations is in, the list of 100 Best Places to Work ion New Jersey is rounded out by 62 small to medium-sized companies.

The 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey are broken down into two lists based on size with 62 small to medium-sized companies (15 to 249 employees) and 38 large companies (more than 250 employees) earning the distinction.
The winning companies will be ranked live at a special awards dinner to be held May 1, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick. The Best Places to Work in New Jersey ceremony will recognize and congratulate each winning company for being dedicated to employees’ growth and quality of life.
Additionally, NJBIZ is producing a special supplement that will highlight all the companies that won. The supplement will be distributed at the event and also will appear in the May 5th edition of NJBIZ, which reaches nearly 54,000 top-level executives, business owners and entrepreneurs.
