1.) Tampa Riverwalk
Where better to begin exploring the city than right in your backyard?
Just a short walk from our Sundance Vacations property is the Tampa Riverwalk, which is packed with some of the most popular attractions in the downtown area.
Aside from the main map markers, there are plenty of spots to relax and grab a bite to eat.
The path itself is 2.5 miles long and offers a beautiful view of the riverfront. Visitors can enter the walk at the location most convenient to them along the way.

2.) Fourth Friday
As its name notes, the fourth Friday of every month brings new festivities to Tampa.
If you plan to be in town when it happens, make sure to stop by for some Fourth Friday Tampa fun!
From 5pm-8pm, downtown Tampa offers free admission and access to a new selection of its must-sees every month. The entire Riverwalk transforms into a festive scene with live music, local art exhibits, and more.
Visitors can pop into local restaurants for food and drink specials or even have a free hour riding bikes up and down the path. Whatever it is you do, Fourth Friday is definitely something you won’t want to miss.
3.) Yuengling Brewery Tour
At any time of year, there are few things better than cracking open a cold one.
After spending some time on the Riverwalk, take a break from the outdoors and stop into “America’s Oldest Brewery” for a free tour of Yuengling Brewery.
Guides lead guests through the facility to teach them the ins and outs of the brewing process in just about an hour.
After the informational portion, each tour culminates with a visit to Yuengling’s biergarten, that’s German for ‘beer garden,’ where guests can sample some of the company’s finest brews for themselves.
4.) Ben T. Davis Beach
Take a load off and enjoy the Florida sun on Ben T. Davis Beach.
Whether you’re looking to lay out or go for a swim, this popular spot is the closest place to downtown Tampa to do it all.
For the adventurer, make sure to visit the Courtney Campbell Trail nearby. Complete with a four miles of bike trail and pedestrian bridge, it’s packed with can’t-miss views.
To finish off your day, catch the gorgeous sunset on the horizon before checking out the area’s nightlife.
5.) Manatee Viewing Center
Spend some more time outside by visiting Florida’s sea mermaids at the Manatee Viewing Center near Apollo Beach.
For the animal lover, the center is a great place to go to learn more about the endangered species’ lives. Be sure to stop by the observation platform, where guests can watch the manatees swim and lounge in the warm waters.
